The company originally began as Bernhardt Instruments. They closed down very briefly during the 3rd quarter of 2007 to reorganize and start up again as Bernhardt Watch Company, and have been successfully operating since then. The Globemaster model dates back to the Bernhardt Instruments era, and was continued after the reorganization with the "Instruments" portion of the logo omitted from the dial and back. Other than logo changes reflecting the company name change, it's the same watch.
